Dear Parishioners and Friends,
During these days of uncertainty we can be assured that the Lord is ever-present and is with us during this time.
Follows is a PRAYER FOR PROTECTION IN TIME OF PANDEMIC. I ask that you join our parish community and recite the prayer each day during this stressful time. As you know, prayer is powerful. Let us call on Mary, the Patroness of our Nation, as we pray for an end to this pandemic and for the good for all in our community, our nation, and the world.
God Bless you,
Fr. Sullivan

Stewardship
“Jesus turned and saw them following him and said to them,
‘What are you looking for?” (John 1:3)
What are you looking for? Are you wasting your time looking for the material comforts of the world? Or, is your heart longing for something deeper that can only
be found by spending time with God? Take time, each day, in silence and ask the Lord what it is that He wants you to do.
As Jesus’s disciples, we are called to be Stewards of the many blessings, talents, gifts, and resources which the Lord has given to each us. As baptized members of Christ’s Church, we are called to actively participate in the mission of the Church to bring the reign of God’s love, peace, joy, freedom, justice, mercy, forgiveness, compassion, healing, and salvation to our time and place, and especially to the poor and those in need.
In its simplest terms, Stewardship asks us to put God's priorities before our own. Good Stewards give the first portion of their gifts of time, talent, and material resources to the Lord's work in gratitude for the many blessings bestowed on us. This practice of giving of our "first fruits" incorporates the aspect of sacrificial giving. God does not judge us by how much we give, but by how faithful we are in making the gift. Stewardship is a lifelong commitment to our Lord.
